For over 13 years, Junko (pronounced Jun-ko) has been working as a hair stylist. Before coming to New York, she had worked in Tokyo, Japan. As one of the top hair stylists in Japan, winning many awards, she has been creating numerous elegant and trendy hair styles.

Junko is capable of most of personal styling expertise including hair cut, perm, blow/dry, color, up-do, and make-up. Although, as an extensively skilled hair stylist, Junko has never stopped attaining new techniques. She has been participating in Vidal Sasson’s hair sessions in London learning various techniques.

Not only as a top hair stylist, but also as an art director and a general manager of Yubi Co., Ltd., she is an excellent educator for assistants and junior hair stylists. She makes training curriculums, evaluates hair cut skills, and proposes new educational programs.

Ken started his career in Tokyo in 1979. After developing and mastering his own techniques, he left Japan and came to Los Angeles and then to New York to achieve his American Dream.

Mr. Ken had owned his own Hair Salon in Hokkaido, Japan. However, Yumi (the owner) wanted Kiwa customers to have hair styling from him since she is a huge fan of Ken's style and technique,. And after sincere pleas, he decided to come work for Yumi at Kiwa Salon New York.

He is an expert of chemicals: superbly experienced in mixing colors for all stages of applications. He can apply his specialized techniques to create styles for all ages and gender, inclucing make-overs from natural to theatrical.

The youngest but highly expected hair stylist of Kiwa Salon, Tany has mastered her skills in Sendai, Japan.

With her charming personality, it was almost impossible to make an appointment in short period with Tany while she was working in Sendai. However, it is not safe to say that she lacks of the finest skills. Most of her customers are tremendously satisfied with her expertness.

She is extremely sensitive to the newest trends, and welcomes everybody who wishes to try out!
